Ventura’s Vallarta Segway tours has the approval from Federal and City Tourism Boards. Use is only permitted on the Malecon (boardwalk). Use on the beach and streets is not permitted. Helmet and high vise vest is also required and provided for each rider. All riders must sign a waiver before leaving the office. The tour will take out 1 to 10 people per tour. recommends the maximum weight of riders be restricted to 300lbs. Some folks maybe a little over this weight and this will not generally affect the performance of the Segway. The handlebars are adjustable. There is a minimum age of 9. Under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There is no maximum age, but riders need to be able to climb and descend a 9” platform. Flat comfortable shoes are recommended.
